We use stable, beautiful Black Walnut lumber. Walnut provides beautiful, luxurious wood colors ranging from dark to light browns with some grain marbling within the grain structure providing deep beauty that remains timeless. Wood is sourced primarily in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
URNS FOR HUMAN ASHES
The Maple Nail companion urns are double urns that are built larger to hold either a larger amount of ashes or two sets of human ashes. The perfect couple urn, so that your loved ones can be honored together.
This extra-large urn has outside dimensions that are 11.5 long 9.0 wide and 10.0 high. A double urn like this will hold the ashes of two adults in one box.

Do you need a vault to bury an urn?
Vaults are a requirement at many traditional cemeteries. Please talk to your cemetery or funeral director to determine if a burial vault is required.
Why do you need an urn vault?
If you’re planning on burying your urn, some cemeteries require the use of an urn vault. A vault reduces the risk of your loved one’s urn getting damaged by water, soil, or other underground elements. A vault also helps prevent the risk of ground collapse from heavy equipment that is often used in cemeteries.
