This simple cremation urn is handmade in our Wisconsin workshop. With a similar style to our popular Black walnut urns and Black Walnut companion urns, we’ve simply removed the contrast colored splines on the corners for a clean and simple look.
This urn is made with beautiful black walnut wood, precision-mitered corners, and a sleek, contemporary design. It’s the perfect way to honor the memory of a loved one. The urn has an interior capacity of 200 cubic inches, which is enough space to hold all of your loved one’s ashes.

When my father passed away we had a hard time finding a suitable urn for him. I decided that the best way to honor him was to make my own. And it turned out so much better than anything I could have bought in the store. American-made, by hand. I know where everything comes from, and I know that it’s well-made and built to last.
Now I’m selling my handmade urns to help other families like mine, which is how Maple Nail came to be.
Black Walnut urns are built with quality materials that have been used in fine furniture and by woodworkers for years. We use stable, beautiful Black Walnut lumber.
Walnut provides beautiful, luxurious wood colors ranging from dark to light browns with some grain marbling within the grain structure providing deep beauty that remains timeless. Wood is sourced primarily in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
